The Greatest LoveScripture: John 3:16

John 3:16 – "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

I. "For God so loved the world..."

·   1 John 4:10 – "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

·   1 John 4:19 – "We love because he first loved us."

II. "...that He gave His one and only Son"

·   Philippians 2:5-8 – "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross!"
